Outside the Buddy Holly Center in Lubbock, Texas, sits a large set of glasses.  These glasses are a homage to the late Buddy Holly, who is a local treasure in Lubbock.

Unsafe and Satisfied Darkness engulfs as the loud beeping travels through the house. An abrupt awakening. Beep. He takes down the nearest smoke detector and removes the battery. Victory! Beep. Another detector scoffs at him deeper in the house. Beep. Determination! Every detector is deactivated. A final sigh, a return to bed. Silence.

Day 18 - Silver Screen at Night

Every night I drive past the movie theater on my way home.  I see the lights shine off the water and it kind of mesmerizes me.  Film is definitely a passion of mine, and having a theater so close is amazing.  These lights are almost like the lights that attract the a bug, I am pulled in.
